Enrollment Open Now for PD in Communications and Supportive Care for Primary Palliative Care and Specialists

Starting in 2019 – Enrollment Open

Enrollment is now open to join a cohort of colleagues from across Chicago-area institutions to learn communication and supportive care skills for primary palliative care.  This is the next generation palliative medicine training developed by the Coleman Palliative Medicine Training Program. 

A comprehensive 10-month, interdisciplinary palliative care training program for advanced practice nurses, nurses, chaplains, social workers, physicians, and physician assistants who care for patients with complex, advanced illness.  No prior experience in palliative care is necessary.  All levels are welcome.

  • Build up-to-date, evidence-based knowledge and skills in palliative medicine and supportive care
  • Join an expanding network of palliative care providers
  • Become an influential member of the regional medical community
  • Train as an individual or a team from a healthcare organization

Training Period:   January 17, 2018 – October 17, 2019
Total CME/CE Credits:   20 – 26
Time Commitment:   28 – 31 hours
